The Fusion Bootstrap (BOOTP) protocol is a UDP/IP client/server protocol used by a client machine to locate its IP address and network mask. It also may be used to locate a server host and the name of a file to be loaded (bootstrapped) into the client machine for execution.

Fusion BOOTP source code is compliant with RFCs 951 and 1542. It is 100% ANSI C compliant for guaranteed portability. It is RTOS and processor independent and comes with a royalty-free license.
